Volunteering at the British Psychological Society
Our dedicated volunteers play an integral role in running the society. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without the tireless work of our members behind the scenes.
But it's not just about the giving – volunteering also provides you with the opportunity to make even more of your membership by connecting with peers and developing new skills, contributing to best practice guidance or even helping to influence policy change.
Whether you have ten minutes or ten hours a month, there is a volunteering role for you.
We welcome applications for volunteering from across our membership and want to ensure our volunteer community is made up people from a diverse range of backgrounds who bring different experiences, skills and outlooks to the table.
We want to support our volunteers to do the best job that they can so we've created this resource to ensure everyone's experience is welcoming and rewarding. We're also committed to ensuring our volunteers are supported throughout their journey, and will provide all the necessary guidance and support.
Volunteering opportunities
A wide variety of volunteer roles and opportunities are available which allow you to share your expertise, knowledge and passion with other BPS members and the wider psychology profession.
