Qualifications Manager (Maternity cover)

We are seeking to appoint a Qualifications Manager to join a friendly, busy and supportive Research, Education and Practice Directorate at the British Psychological Society.

Post: Qualifications Manager

Salary: Band 3 - £46,025 per annum 

Contract: Fixed Term for up to 12 months to cover Maternity Leave

Location: Leicester or London – Hybrid Working

We are seeking to appoint a Qualifications Manager to join a friendly, busy and supportive Research, Education and Practice Directorate at the British Psychological Society. 

You will be responsible for the management, implementation and delivery of the Society's qualifications portfolio in close collaboration with the Assessment and Awards Team.

A key focus of the role is to lead the team that is responsible for the enrolment of candidates onto qualifications, to ensure their progress and successful completion and that their outcomes are delivered in a timely manner. 

We are looking for someone who has proven knowledge and experience of professional development environments and the delivery of training and qualifications and is able to hit the ground running. 

Key accountabilities for the role include: 

  • Managing the Qualifications Committee
  • Setting up and monitoring contractual arrangements 
  • Ensuring all targets are met and a high-quality service is delivered to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Team on the development and implementation of marketing and communications plans 
  • Establishing opportunities to build relationships with external organisations requiring the Society's qualifications
  • Managing the Team's budget, including forecasting, budget bids, budget control and pricing strategies
  • Ensuring that good practice is identified and applied across the department
