Forensic psychology - revised qualification launch
New qualification from the British Psychological Society.

The BPS has launched a revised qualification in forensic psychology which will be delivered fully online. The stage 2 qualification is open to those working in areas including, prison services, the probation service, rehabilitation units, secure hospitals, forensic settings, and social services, where people can gain the required competencies.
The qualification is open to applications at four points across the year, in January, April, July and October, and can be completed across four years. The course covers four areas of competency – assessment, intervention, supervision of others, applied forensic research, consultancy and policy, and training other professionals – each of these areas will be assessed through three formal submissions.
To be eligible to enrol you must have graduate basis for chartered membership, a BPS-accredited MSc in Forensic Psychology, and be working in a suitable role to undertake supervised practice. Once completed students will be eligible for BPS chartership and HCPC accreditation.
