Featured job: Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Autism Diagnostic Service

We are a small, friendly multidisciplinary service working across Hampshire,Surrey and the South of England. We need a psychologist to oer assessments and post diagnostic support of Autism Spectrum Conditions across age ranges.

The role involves gathering of comprehensive developmental histories through clinical interview with parent/carers, Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI), structured observational assessments using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) psychometric assessments and use of various tools and measures. Also, supervising an Assistant Psychologist, contributing to service development of the assessment and post diagnostic support pathway. The successful candidate will have knowledge of, and experience in working with and assessing ASD and comorbidities across age ranges as well as experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) and professional registration/memberships with HCPC/BPS are essential.

This is a exible position ranging from a minimum of 1-2 days (14 hours of clinical work) possibly to full time (37.5 hrs) post. We welcome applications from highly motivated and resourceful individuals. Competitive remuneration oered to the right candidate according to experience.
