Editorial, May 2023: Matthew Warren, and gender

This month we are saying goodbye to Matthew Warren, Editor of our Research Digest, who is moving on to an exciting role with Science.
Matthew joined the team as a writer in early 2019 and was promoted to editor later that year. Despite the challenges of a pandemic, he and his two writers have kept up the quality output and played a key role in our digital development.
This has seen the Research Digest and its podcast take their rightful place at the centre of what we and the British Psychological Society offer, through our website and app.
Matthew has been a pleasure to work with: we wish him all the best and hope that he will chip in to the Digest's 20th anniversary this September.
