Editorial, June 2024
Our editor, Dr Jon Sutton, introduces the issue.

After last month's special on 'being political in divisive times', we're living it again this issue with coverage on the Cass Review of gender identity services and war, including Israel-Palestine.
These are clearly divisive topics. And we probably get as much reaction to what we supposedly haven't covered as we do to what we have. But I remain confident we're doing our best, as a small staff team looking to put out a lot of varied content across print and online platforms, in a contentious and often conflicting discipline and world. Our policies are available via our website, and we are accountable to Society members on our advisory committee.
I'm thankful as ever to the dozens of psychologists each month willing to work with us – sometimes despite disagreement – to produce issues which we hope you find personal, practical, and persuasive. It's another packed one, with a few pieces around later life; Daniel Freeman on paranoia; and Maddy Arden in conversation with Greg Fell.
