Editorial, July/August 2023
Jon Sutton introduces the issue.
27 June 2023
The British Psychological Society hosts the European Congress of Psychology in Brighton on 3-6 July. The theme is 'Psychology: Uniting communities for a sustainable world', which we explored in last month's issue through several contributions from Brighton-based psychologists.
In this special July/August issue, we turn to the event's keynote and invited speakers, featured throughout.
You'll find nine articles and interviews, on topics ranging from sustainable change, through inequality, dementia and hate speech, to climate change, plus more in 'Books', 'Looking back' and 'Your voice'.
The Congress theme also pops up in a report from a 'cross-network climate emergency and psychology engagement event', plus our Research Digest considering collective action.
See you in Brighton! There'll be lots of reading over the summer, via our website and in our app; and in print by September, with some chaos…
