Perhaps more than ever, I hear people around me talk about the feeling of the pressure of work and ways to cope. This month, that theme runs through pieces on corporate gaslighting and absentee management, redundancy, and workplace friendships. Emotions are also there in 'becoming human', beating anxiety, contemplation, and coping with liminality through Taylor Swift.
Believe it or not, it's already time for us to start planning for 2025. The new year sees our guest-edited January/February special, and that's an initiative we would like to keep going.
If you and your colleagues fancy taking the editorial reins for a bit, with our support, please reach out on [email protected] with your idea for a topic and an editorial vision of how you would seek to engage and inform our readers in magazine form – personal, practical, persuasive. And of course, if a whole edition seems a bit much, I'm still here for your suggestions!
As ever, find more via The Psychologist/in our app. Thanks for your support as we see out another year!
