Book Award 2020 shortlist

The Research Board, Practice Board and the Education and Training Board formed a panel recently and have now decided on the 2020 Book Award shortlist.

The nominations, with links to features/interviews in The Psychologist, are:

• Experiencing the Impossible by Professor Gustav Khun

• Explaining Humans, What Science Can Teach us about Life, Love, and Relationships by Dr Camilla Pang

• Inventing Ourselves: The Secret Life of the Teenage Brain by Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore; review, and transcript of session at Latitude Festival

• The Art of Rest by Claudia Hammond

• Letters to a New Student: Tips to Study Smarter from a Psychologist by Dr Gary Wood

• The New Psychology of Health by Professors Alexander Haslam, Catherine Haslam, Jolan da Jetten, Tegan Cruwys, and Genevieve Dingle

The Society hopes to announce the final winners in mid -October.
