An update on our 2024 subscription fees for BPS members

You will receive all the details about your 2024 membership subscription and any additional subscriptions to our registers and directories in your renewal email or letter.

24 October 2023

Our priority is to make sure that we can continue giving you the quality of service you've come to expect from us and to keep improving the way we support you, but like everyone else, we are still dealing with the effects of rising prices across various sectors.

As a result, there will be an increase to our membership, registers and directories fees from 1 January 2024.

This was agreed by our Board of Trustees in September 2023.

What does this mean for you?

You will receive all the details about your 2024 membership subscription and any additional subscriptions to our registers and directories in your personalised renewal email or letter.

You'll receive this 60 days before you are due to renew.

For our chartered, full and graduate members the increase is £1.23 per month (if you are currently on the full-price membership rate).

For our associate members it's less than 85p per month and for student members it's less than 25p per month.

If you're an affiliate subscriber, it's less than 95p per month and for e-subscribers it's 11p per month.

Please know that we have always tried to keep your fees as a low as possible, including freezing the cost between 2018 and 2021. As a result, our prices remain below the level of overall inflation since 2018.
