Member survey aims to help BPS better understand membership

The monthly survey aims to provide insight to help the BPS better engage with its members to understand their thoughts, opinions and needs.

Each month the survey will be sent to a sample of members randomly selected across the membership grades, and also sent to members who have either recently joined or left the BPS.

It will give the BPS a snapshot of the feelings within the membership and what the society can do to improve the membership experience. The survey will also aim to get members' views on a number of topical issues, to help shape and develop some of the proactive campaigning work.

Debra Malpass, Director of Knowledge and Insight at the BPS, said:

"It's really important that as a membership body we are listening to our members and providing a mechanism where they can share their views and feedback as to how the BPS is working for them.

"We'd encourage all of those members who receive an invite to complete the survey to do so, as their feedback is vital to us better understanding our membership, and to make sure we are providing the best possible service and experience for members."

The survey will only be sent to those members who have opted-in to receive email communications from the BPS. The results, and any subsequent actions, will be shared regularly via member communications and the BPS website.
