Join the new BPS Media Guide to Expertise
Help us to make sure psychological expertise is represented properly in the media.
28 January 2022
Now that our new membership portal is up-and-running, we've opened applications for our new BPS Media Guide to Expertise.
This is a new feature, replacing our former media database, which will allow the communications team at the BPS to help connect expert members with journalists working on stories that have a psychological angle or require our input.
We welcome applications from members currently on the existing media database and from members who are not currently on the database but are keen to take part in media interviews.
If you are a BPS member and have previous experience working with the media, or would like to help make sure that your area of psychology is represented accurately, we'd love to hear from you.
You can apply via the button on our Communications page.
When you apply you will see the information you need to submit, please make sure you supply a simple, media-friendly summary of your areas of expertise and experience so we can accurately match up keyword topics.
If you are on the existing BPS media database, we'll be contacting you shortly to explain more, but please feel free to complete an application for the new system in the meantime.
If you have any questions please get in touch via [email protected].
The BPS is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and we encourage applications from all backgrounds.
