HCPC fee consultation - share your views
Input into the BPS’s response to the HCPC’s consultation on increased registration fees.
07 October 2022
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is currently undertaking a consultation to increase its fees. The proposed increase for HCPC registrants will be £19.62, taking the fee to £117.74.
For practitioner psychologists within our membership, HCPC registration is mandatory. A rise of 20 per cent in registration fees, which is almost double the current rate of inflation, is significant and is coming at a time when we know our members are being faced with the wider cost of living crisis.
We will be responding to the consultation, strongly opposing this increase, and want to ensure the views, contributions and expertise of our members is represented.
You can make your views known in three ways:
- Share your views with us to help us to write our consultation response. You can submit your response to the consultation here and share with Nigel Atter by Monday 14 November.
- Fill in our survey for members
- Send in your own response to the HCPC's consultation so they hear from as many voices as possible. Full details on the consultation can be found here.
HCPC will also be holding a series of webinars for registrants and other stakeholders, during the consultation period, which can be accessed via their consultation page.
