12 August 2024

Former Division of Counselling Psychology Chair, Dr Yetunde Ade-Serrano, has been instrumental in recent years in drawing together colleagues from across the globe to form the Global Counselling Psychology Forum.

The Forum fosters a collaborative platform for sharing knowledge, best practice, and relevant issues in Counselling Psychology. The Forum is committed to promoting mental health and well-being across diverse contexts, advocating for the highest standards in training and professional practice, and supporting the advancement of Counselling Psychology around the globe.

The aim is to create a global voice for the profession, addressing challenges and amplifying the impact of the profession in communities around the world.

The Division is delighted to share this newly published Position Paper on Counselling Psychology, and invite colleagues to the Global Counselling Psychology Forum webinars in August at which our Chair, Dr Sue Whitcombe, will be speaking.
