This year's festival promises an exciting and diverse lineup of speakers, with tickets available now.
This five-day virtual event will showcase the diverse world of psychology careers, with sessions spanning across four stages. Featuring an exciting mix of professionals from various fields, sharing their career stories, advice, and tips on succeeding in psychology, the festival promises something for everyone.
Here are some of the main stage speakers announced for this year's festival so far:
Dr Adrian Whittington
National Clinical Lead for Psychological Professions, NHS England
Session: Starting Your NHS Career in the Psychological Professions
When: Wednesday, 6 November, 10:00 – 10:35 AM
Adrian is a clinical psychologist by background and provides clinical leadership at NHS England on psychological practice and psychological professions workforce. Prior to this, Adrian worked as a Chief Psychological Professions Officer and Director of Education at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Adrian has worked clinically in learning disabilities, adult community mental health and NHS Talking Therapies services. He has published on psychology, psychological therapies and anxiety disorders.
Dr Laura Dean
President-Elect BPS, Institute of Work Psychology
Session: The Crazy Paving Route to Presidency

Dr Laura Dean's career has been anything but straightforward, spanning roles as an assessor, youth worker, teacher, careers adviser, and mental health professional. Laura has worked in education, mental health, the private sector, and was even seconded to the American military. This eclectic mix of experiences fuels her unique approach to workplace wellbeing and professional development. With her engaging and down-to-earth style, Laura brings a fresh perspective on how psychology can enhance careers and transform work environments.
Dr Kevin Teoh
Chartered Psychologist and Lecturer in Organisational Psychology, Birkbeck, University of London
Session: From the Individual to Beyond: Taking a Holistic Approach to Supporting Staff Wellbeing
When: Tuesday, 5 November, 10:00 – 10:35 AM
Dr Kevin Teoh is also the Executive Officer for the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology. His primary research interests are around developing healthier workplaces, and the translation of research into practice, policy and public dissemination. Kevin has collaborated extensively with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work and the Society of Occupational Medicine, and has a particular interest in the working conditions and wellbeing of healthcare workers. He has also worked on projects in the private and public sectors in the United Kingdom and abroad, encouraging a systems perspective to managing staff health and wellbeing. Through his work, Kevin has received awards for excellence in research from the BPS and the Society of Occupational Medicine.
Dr Danielle D'Lima
Associate Professor and Teaching Lead, Centre for Behaviour Change, University College London
Session: An Introduction to Behaviour Change: How to Change Your Career and Change the World
When: Tuesday, 5 November, 3:15 – 3:50 PM
Dr Danielle D'Lima's role includes designing and delivering the teaching for the globally renowned UCL MSc Behaviour Change as well as overseeing research on Implementation Science and professional behaviour change. She leads the Centre for Behaviour Change's online short course and has an evolving interest in capacity building in Behaviour Change Science and Implementation Science as well as the application of these to the education setting. Danielle has a PhD from Imperial College London on the influence of feedback on professional behaviour change in healthcare.
