Educational and Child Psychology invites expressions of interest to join its editorial board

Educational and Child Psychology (ECP) is the flagship publication of the Division of Educational and Child Psychology (DECP).

This is an amazing opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and impact of a respected, peer-reviewed publication. ECP is committed to publishing high-quality, original research that deepens the understanding of psychology in education while advancing theoretical perspectives in the field.

We are building an editorial board that reflects diverse traditions, perspectives, and demographic backgrounds, including gender, ethnicity, and global representation.

What We Expect from Board Members

As an editorial board member, your role will include:

  • Being an active member of the board for a term of three years, with the possibility of one extension.
  • Participating in two remote meetings annually.
  • Reviewing at least 2–3 articles per year to ensure the publication maintains its high standards of quality and rigor.
  • Offering feedback on special issue proposals and advising on strategic editorial matters.
  • Leading and curating special issues to spotlight emerging areas of research.
  • Promoting the publication within your professional networks to increase its reach and influence.

Please note: this is a voluntary role.
