Early Career Conference Bursary Scheme 2025

The BPS Early Careers Conference Bursary is available for all BPS members who are UK-based early career psychologists. The bursary can be used to attend (physically or virtually) any academic conference, either in the UK or overseas, which is relevant to their work.

For the purposes of this bursary scheme, an early career psychologist is defined as someone who has completed their doctoral degree or practitioner doctorate in psychology in the last eight years.

You can apply for a bursary of up to £250 (to attend a UK-based conference) or £500 (to attend an international conference). The bursary can be used to contribute towards the costs of registration and travel to attend the full conference.
