If you are passionate about your studies, supporting your fellow students, and want to learn new skills along the way then you could be a volunteer Student Ambassador.

If you are studying an accredited bachelor's degree, master's conversion or a wider psychological trainee course, specifically 'Educational Mental Health Practitioner role' and 'Clinical Associate in Psychology role', we would like to hear from you!
As a Student Ambassador, you can get involved with:
- Supporting your fellow students who are entering into education and training
- Be a correspondent between the BPS, the student committee and your university
- Carrying out activities to engage your fellow students
- Gain experience of how to network to build long-lasting relationships with key
stakeholders
Volunteering as a Student Ambassador is very flexible. You can commit to set hours each week or join us on a more flexible basis – whatever suits you!

How to apply
All you need to do is put together a short video or covering letter identifying how you would support the BPS using your skills to meet the general requirements for this role and send it to us.
If you choose to create a video, it should be no longer than five minutes and can be recorded using any format and platform you prefer.
You could use PowerPoint, a recording on a mobile device or tablet or a Zoom/MS Teams recorded call.
Please ensure you send your video via a video-sharing platform such as YouTube or Google Drive.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to discuss how to record your video.
Please be sure to add the following details to your application:
- Full course name
- University name
- Nature of course (e.g undergraduate studying on campus, postgraduate course studying online, trainee course etc)
- Course duration
- End date of course
