Changes to graduate member post-nominals coming soon

After a successful member vote earlier this year, changes are being made to member grades to make our organisation more inclusive and improve the pathway through our membership grades. As a result of these changes, the post-nominals for graduate members will be updated. The update will take place on 19 September 2022.

All changes will be made via the BPS membership database. Nothing else will change with graduate membership, members just see different post-nominals next to your name when they login to your portal account. Members will need to start looking at where they use their post-nominals for example, email signatures, business cards, LinkedIn, etc. and update these.

We will be in touch with all graduate members in the next couple of weeks to remind you of the changes, and where you need to update your post-nominals but please don't worry, you will have plenty of time to do this.

 We hope these changes, along with the wider membership grade changes that members voted for earlier this year, will mean the BPS and its grades better reflect where our members are in their profession.
