We, at The British Psychological Society, have been working closely with NHS England to prepare for the changes and are delighted that NHS England recognises our registers as evidence of your professional competency.
Our public register is an important step in protecting the public and employers and provides assurance that EMHP's and CWP's have met the required standards and are practicing safely.

What is the cost?
How do I join the register?
To check your eligibility to the BPS register, simply visit our website and click my registration.
This will take you to your job role where you can select the relevant tab and find the specific training, practice, and supervision requirements.
You will also need to be a member of the BPS in order to be eligible to qualify for the register. Most children's wellbeing practitioners and educational mental health practitioners join us on an associate membership. This membership will grant you the use of the title AMBPsS after your name.
You can submit your application online, and we have a team waiting to process your application.

Once you have joined the BPS register, you have met the mandatory requirements for eligibility to practise and can provide this information to your employer.
