Applications open for new History of Psychology Centre Advisory Committee
We’re looking for talented individuals with the relevant expertise and passion to join the new History of Psychology Centre (HOPC) Advisory Committee.

The creation of the new committee is one of the recommendations from a recent report into the BPS archives, to ensure they remain relevant, refreshed and useful to all who wish to use them.
The advisory committee will provide expert advice and guidance to BPS Staff who are responsible for managing the archives, and support the HOPC's vision to be the number one archive for the history of psychology in the UK.

The membership of the committee will be made up of the following roles:
- Chair
- The History of Psychology Centre Archivist
- The Director of Knowledge & Insight
- A representative from the Research Board
- A representative from the Education & Training Board
- A representative from the Diversity & Inclusion Strategy Board
- A representative from the History and Philosophy of Psychology Section
- Up to two additional members with experience of relevance to the strategic priorities of HOPC
- Three remaining co-opted roles from outside BPS membership to enable a suitable diversity of membership e.g. a medical historian or an archives expert.
