Applications now open for BPS strategy board chairs
We’re looking for talented people to chair two of the BPS’s strategy boards.

The society has five main boards which report to the Board of Trustees, each with a specific area of responsibility. Applications are now open for the role of Chair for each of the following boards:
- Education and Training Board
- Practice Board
As well as serving as Chair of their individual boards, the three successful candidates will also become trustees of the BPS, working with our other trustees to oversee the effective running of the society.
Our Education and Training Board supports the society in developing a strategy to help deliver inclusive, world-class education and continuing professional development for psychologists and the wider psychological workforce.

This role is open for applications following the resignation of the chair. The successful candidate will be immediately appointed to the BPS's Board of Trustees.
Our Practice Board promotes excellence in psychological practice so that everyone can access high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to enhance their lives, organisations, communities and wider society.

This role is open for applications as the current chair will complete their second term in mid-2023. The successful candidate will be appointed to the Board of Trustees following the Annual General Meeting on 26 July.
