Evidence-Based Mental Health journal
Evidence-Based Mental Health (EBMH) is a journal which includes key published papers and exclusive expert contributions.
EBMH is owned and published by the society in partnership with The Royal College of Psychiatry and the British Medical Journal, and aims to engage psychiatrists and psychologists, particularly younger professionals, in the challenge of basing their practice on evidence.
This invaluable publication surveys a wide range of international medical journals, applying strict criteria for assessing the quality and validity of the research presented, before it selects 24 vital articles for every issue, presenting the key details of these essential studies in a succinct, informative abstract, accompanied by an expert commentary on its clinical application.
Edited by Dr Andrea Cipriani, it publishes new articles online as they are approved, with quarterly print issues published in February, May, August and November.
EBMH also includes a recommended reading list of high quality articles that were not included to ensure that its readers always have more material to go on and explore.
