Suicide prevention summit online
- Mental health
About the event
The purpose of this event is to equip practicing mental health professionals with global best-practice knowledge and skills on suicide prevention, thereby making a tangible reduction on suicide rates.
Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death in the UK and Ireland, and one of the world's most pressing health challenges.
Mental Health Academy (MHA) and the British Psychological Society (BPS) have partnered to bring you the 2022 Suicide Prevention Summit.
The purpose of this summit is to equip clinicians and peer support workers with the most up-to-date, advanced knowledge and treatment options on suicide prevention. To achieve that, we've assembled 10 highly respected experts on suicide into one online specialised Summit.
Over 2 days, September 10 & 11, you'll enjoy real-time, interactive access to 10 webinars. You will then have on-demand streaming access to video recordings (see registration form via Mental Health Academy for further details).
Target audience
Psychologists, Counsellors, Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and all mental health practitioners.
If you work in mental health and community services, this is a must-not miss event.
Cost
This is a free event to attend.
However, you can pay just £10 to enjoy extra perks, including extended access to session recordings, slides and post-session notes.
Proceeds Go to Charity
In 2020 & 2021, we donated close to £5,000 to charity through the Suicide Prevention Summit.
This year alone, we're targeting a whopping £20,000 in funds raised for charity.
All revenue raised shall be going to charity.
