About

Welcome to the Psychology Postgraduate Affairs Group (PsyPAG) 2022 Annual Virtual Conference.

Our conference will be held virtually and hosted by Ulster University. With a range of posters, live talks, and interactive workshops by postgraduates, for postgraduates!

This year's conference will be held online on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th July.

Please note that our conferences have no theme; all postgraduate research with a psychology background is very welcome.

Authors are strongly advised to register on the on-line submission system and begin preparing their submissions well in advance of the following deadlines

If you wish to submit more than one abstract, please complete individual submissions for each.

Submission guidelines

Posters

Poster abstracts should be max. 300 words and should include details on empirical work, methodology, and implications. Non-data-driven posters (e.g., practice exchange pieces, reflections, work in progress) are also very welcome. 

Oral presentations

Oral presentations will be 10 minutes with 5 minutes of scheduled time for dedicated Q&A. Abstracts for oral presentations should be max. 300 words and should include details on empirical work, methodology, and implications.

Non-data-driven presentations (e.g., practice exchange pieces and reflections) are also very welcome. We also welcome presentations of work in progress, including pre-data collection.

Please ensure you read the submission guidelines below before submitting, including the reviewer guidelines. These allow you to see how your submissions will be reviewed.

Please make your submissions via  the online application portal by clicking the 'Make a Submission' button below. You will need to create an account if the the first submitting.

Registration is available online only. All rates listed are inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Returning Customers (Members and non-members)

In order to register for the event, you will need to sign in using your BPS website log in details. We have implemented a new Membership Database (CRM) recently and if you haven't received your pre-registration email please contact [email protected] to request a re-send and follow the instructions received. Once pre-registered on the CRM use your USERNAME and PASSWORD to log in to register for the event.

Non-returning customers (Members and non-members)

If you are not a returning customer, you will need to create a free account. Once set up use your USERNAME and PASSWORD to log in to register for the event.

Joining instructions will be sent the day prior to the event, these will be sent to your BPS registered email address.
