Psych at the Mic: Peer Assisted Learning in Schools
- Teaching and learning
Join Dr Emma Vardy at our Psych at the Mic event to learn about Peer Assisted Learning Strategies UK (PALS-UK), a whole-class, structured peer tutoring intervention aiming to improve pupils' reading comprehension, oral reading fluency, and overall reading attainment.
For the pupils who take part, it can improve not only their reading comprehension and oral reading fluency but also build their confidence in reading aloud.
There are also social benefits through improving peer relationships.
