The webinar will cover what Forensic Psychology is and what areas a Forensic Psychologist might work in.

It will cover how one becomes a Forensic Psychologist and the different training routes available, as well as what types of careers one can enjoy.

The webinar will then cover what the roles and responsibilities of a Forensic Psychologist are compared to other psychology professions and will give an overview of what a day in the life of a Forensic Psychologist in different settings might look like.

There will be an opportunity for questions and answers at the end of the webinar.

The event is free to attend (registration is required) and will be held online, via Zoom.

About the speaker

Ciara Wild is a Registered Forensic Psychologist with the HCPC, Chartered Member and Associate Fellow of the BPS and Deputy Chair of the Education and Training Board with the BPS.

Ciara currently works for HMPPS and has previously worked in the NHS as well as in the charitable sector. Ciara has been qualified since 2018 and supervises trainee Forensic Psychologists on the BPS Stage 2 qualification and the Cardiff Met PGDip.
