The event consists of a methods workshop, which will be demonstrating the use of cutting-edge methods and analysis techniques.

The event is aimed at researchers from different stages of their career, from PHD students through to established researchers.

The workshop will provide hands-on practice in methods for data collection and analysis, ones which are identified by the BPS Cognitive Section membership - via an all-members survey - as being key requirements for generating innovative, high-quality, and robust research in cognition.

The aim is to ensure that our members are equipped with knowledge and skills appropriate for doing research in 2024 and beyond.

A broader aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers, to foster a sense of scientific community amongst our members and facilitate an exchange of knowledge between different areas of cognitive research.

This event will be held at:

  • The Centre for Psychological Research
    Oxford Brookes University
    Gipsy Lane
