Emotional Intelligence at work
- Social and behavioural
- Work and occupational
During this webinar learner shall begin to recognise the signs of emotional strain in oneself and others, identify people-pleasing and fixing behaviours which can have a negative effect on our work in the care profession and shall explore practice tools to recognise emotions and respond appropriately, express and manage our feelings and handle interactive relationships effectively.
he webinar will offer practical tools which practitioners can use with their clients, organisations, or as part of their own personal practice.
This webinar aims to:
- Support compassionate people who need to contain the anxieties of others (often without realising how much this can affect them).
- Teach methods to sit with, explore and learn from emotions – many of which clients can benefit from as well as ourselves.
- Deal with difficult conversations using structures – because sometimes, when it comes to potential emotional conflict, it's not about addressing psychological reasons but simply practical ones.
Target Audience
- Anyone who wishes to explore their own emotional effectiveness at work.
- Anyone new to the care professions as they may find insights into their own motivations and perhaps areas to be mindful of as they progress.
