About

The climate and biodiversity crisis is one of the greatest collective challenges we face as a species.

Many of the individuals we work with are facing intense anxiety, stress and grief related to worry about the future of the planet and the inaction we observe.

We are holding this session in honour of International Coaching Week. The learning outcomes are to:

• Become familiar with and consider where you are individually on the Eco-Cycle
• Reflect on the Eco-anxiety and distress your clients might be showing up with
• Consider some useful models for how we can support our clients to take agency and reframe distress
• Share and discuss the myths that surround this area
• Reflect on our role as a profession is supporting societal shift

This session is being presented by the Joint Statement Group on Climate and the Ecodiversity Crisis, a collaboration on 11 coaching, mentoring and coaching psychology organisations. Further information can be found at Joint Global Statement Group on Climate and Ecodiversity Crises – The interconnectedness of all species and earth systems requires collective action and collaboration at local and global levels. We believe that coaching can help (jgsg.one)
