About

Belfast will host the Annual Conference of the Division of Sport & Exercise Psychology, from Tuesday 3rd December to Wednesday 4th December 2024. The Hilton Hotel in Belfast City Centre has been chosen as the venue for conference proceedings.

With the city airport, train service to Dublin and Belfast's new public transport 'glider' service easily accessed, delegates will be able to enjoy special conference-related activities being planned in Belfast.

Our theme this year is 'Cultivating Connections'.

This reflects our ambition to have a conference experience which brings together the community of Sport and Exercise Psychology from across Britain and Ireland. Belfast is uniquely positioned to cultivate those connections and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone here in December.

Conference Social

Belfast City Hall is the special venue for a reception on the evening of Tuesday 3rd December. This will be the mid-point of the conference and a highlight of the programme.

Belfast's main civic building, City Hall, is a beautiful location, steeped in the history and heritage of the city itself. At this festive time of year,  it is also the location for a wonderful Christmas market.

The reception will afford delegates an informal opportunity to forge connections with other colleagues and attendees. It also provides the perfect starting point for a social evening exploring the warm welcome on offer in the cafés, bars and restaurants around Belfast city centre.

Please note that numbers for this special event are limited. So, register early to reserve your place to access the reception in Belfast City Hall.
