About

The DECP invites you to attend our 2024 Trainee EP Conference.

The conference aims to provide opportunities for trainees and newly qualified EPs to share their research findings and research journey with those embarking on this process.

We aim to provide opportunities learn about a range of research designs and methodological approaches, as well as to explore how trainee research is expanding and evolving the professional knowledge and skills base.

The theme of the DECP conference this year is exploring the role of educational psychology in promoting equity, diversity and inclusion.

The conference presentations will provide TEPs and newly qualified educational psychologists with relevant and practical examples of how evidence based research can facilitate their thinking and practice in relation to promoting equity in the profession, and the EP role in promoting greater inclusivity in their schools and in supporting the families and students most vulnerable to discrimination, segregation or exclusion.

The event consists of online presentations and workshops.
