About

Join three leading Coaching Psychologists in this interactive, informative and provocative session. The session will be recorded for participants who are unable to join us live, and we encourage participants to have their 'cameras on' to enable a safe and productive space for all participants.

Provisional learning objectives:

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
1. Be aware of key ethical and safety issues relating to clients mental health needs (whether known or unknown, concealed or revealed)
2. Feel confident to set clear boundaries to ensure their own and client's safety as coaching psychologists
3. Be aware of how to safely commission coaching interventions
4. To identify any risks in their own practice relating to client's mental health needs and
make plans to address these

Annabel Poate-Joyner

Annabel Poate-Joyner is a Consultant Clinical & Coaching Psychologist who trained and worked in the NHS before independent practice working across the full range of public and private sector services, organisations and businesses. Annabel has a specialist clinical and research expertise in Occupational Health, Bullying & Harassment and Cultural issues in organisations.


Dr Claire Hepworth

Dr Claire Hepworth is a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Academic/Clinical Lead, Senior
Lecturer, Coaching Psychologist and Systemic Team Coach. She provides consultation, coaching, psychological intervention, clinical supervision and training to individuals and organizations. Dr Hepworth has a background in National Specialist and Community NHS Mental Health Services, the Education sector and Private Practice. Claire has specialist clinical and research expertise in managing risk and emotion regulation and consults on policies and pathways to wellbeing and inclusion.


Dr Fiona Day

Dr Fiona Day is a Chartered Coaching Psychologist and EMCC 'Master Practitioner'. She has over 20 years' experience working as a doctor in a range of clinical and medical leadership roles, and is a trained occupational physician. She now works independently as a Consultant Coaching Psychologist specialising in working with senior doctors, medical and public health leaders in the UK and Internationally. Fiona is actively engaged in research and teaching coaching skills, and is on the RAPPS register as a Supervisor.
