You are invited to attend the BPS Scottish Undergraduate Conference on Saturday 29th March 2025, hosted by the Department of Sociological and Psychological Sciences at Abertay University.

The conference will be taking place at:

The BPS Scotland UG conference celebrates the rich diversity of undergraduate research in Scotland.

This conference provides a forum for final year psychology students to deliver a conference talk based on their final year thesis/project, whilst also providing an opportunity to meet students from other universities and learn about their work.

Over an extended lunch break the Futures Fair hosts representatives from many Divisions of the BPS (e.g. Clinical, Health, Occupational etc). Here you can meet practitioners and discuss their profession and get careers advice.

Situated in the heart of Dundee, just a few minutes from the city centre, psychology students and staff from Abertay University are excited to welcome you to  campus which is a mix of the traditional and the contemporary. We look forward to welcoming you to Dundee for this celebration of outstanding undergraduate research in psychology.  

  • This is a free-to-attend conference for psychology students (and staff) studying in Scotland
  • You can submit an abstract to present a short talk based on your thesis/project, please read the submissions tab for more information.
  • There will be prizes awarded for best student presentations

Key submission dates

  • January 2025: Online submission system opens
  • 3 March 2025: Deadline for Abstract Submissions
  • 11 March 2025: Notification of Submission Outcomes 
  • 12 March 2025: Conference registration closes

Authors are strongly advised to register on the on-line submission system and begin preparing their submissions well in advance of the deadlines.

These allow you to see how your submissions will be reviewed.

Submissions must be made via the online application portal, Oxford Abstracts.

Registration is free-of-charge for students and staff members in Scottish universities.
