Becoming a culturally competent practitioner
- Education
About
This is a training session developed by the DECP EDI Implementation Group and is the first of a two-part series. The DECP EDI Implementation Group was formed in November 2020 to translate the DECP's stated commitment to valuing diversity and promoting anti-racism and inclusion into concrete actions. This first training session is aimed at creating a safe space to critically consider issues around race, diversity, equality and inclusion and to think reflexively on our personal and professional journeys towards cultural competence.
