Applying the BPS Code of Human Research Ethics
- Ethics and morality
- Professional Practice
This webinar will provide an overview of the BPS Code of Human Research Ethics (CHRE) and its development over the years. The four key Principles will be examined and linked to philosophical perspectives. Each section of the CHRE will then be discussed, with the use of examples to show how the Principles can be applied in practice. Finally, some dilemmas faced by psychologists working in challenging contexts will be explored and solutions offered.
Psychology researchers seeking to apply the BPS Code of Human Research Ethics to their own specific research project can benefit from further explanation of the principles and illustrations of how they can be interpreted in specific contexts.
Target Audience
This webinar is suitable for both psychology researchers both at their early and mid-career, and for seasoned professionals.
