    BPS Communications Ltd is seeking to appoint a new Director(s). The successful applicant will take an active role in assisting in the running of the company.

    BPS Communications Ltd is a trading subsidiary of the British Psychological Society (also referred to as 'the Society'). The principal activity is the running of commercial advertising services for the parent company, the Society, specifically in relation to their publication of the Psychologist.

    The company consists of a number of Directors and the majority of the share capital of the company is held by the British Psychological Society.

    Personal requirements:

    We are seeking to appoint an applicant(s) who can fulfil the following requirements, with the relevant skill set and knowledge:

    • Experience of being in a Director's role and can evidence that they have taken an active role in the running of a small or larger company (desirable but not essential);
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Ability to express opinions, while respecting the thoughts and opinions of others;
    • Has some knowledge of financial accounting;
    • Is able to attend at least three Board meetings per year, currently being held virtually.
    • Has an interest or understanding of Psychology.
