Salary: Grade 5 - £29,269 per annum
FTE: Full-time, 35 hours per week

We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our communications team to support with the delivery of our member and external communications strategy.
As a communications officer, you will be responsible for managing a number of internal and external relationships including with our member networks and members to uncover and tell the stories of our members, their work and the role of psychology.
You will also be responsible for managing communications to our members ensuring they are engaging and accurate and delivering an outstanding service to our members.
Alongside this you will also contribute to supporting the Media Officer and Communications Manager with the delivery of our media strategy, working to build positive working relationships with journalists and ensure BPS positions and messaging are well represented.
You will also be responsible for managing a range of internal and external communication projects across the organisation, providing communications expertise as to planning and delivery of communications to ensure maximum engagement and interaction with new products, services or information sharing.
