Appointed Committee Member - Role description

The role of an Appointed Committee Member is to support the wider committee to develop and deliver a plan of impactful activity throughout the year, encouraging networking and knowledge sharing between network members and wider stakeholders.
What the role involves
An appointed committee member you will bring unique skills and experience to the committee and be responsible for:
- Actively engaging with the Committee, taking on tasks as and when required to support the Committee in delivering activities.
- Attending committee meetings to input in discussions and support the committee in its decision making.
- Supporting and publicising the activities of your Member Network across the wider membership and to external stakeholders, promoting Society membership wherever possible.
- Reporting back on specific tasks undertaken on behalf of the Committee.
- Working in partnership with committee members, other networks and society staff.
- Contributing to the overall activity plan for your Member Network that delivers activities to engage the full network membership.
